Hamburg's new electro band discovery Dancing Pigeons are delivering powerful sets on stage, though they look that they haven't passed twenty years yet. Because of that and their fast growing fan base, they have been invited to Kampnagel's famous Sommerfestival this year. Our poster for this show reminds with its DIY asthethic of former times, when visual communication on the streets was reduced to "Who? Were? When?" crafted by hand in a simple way.

A sampler on the Japanese label ezes code for the anniversary of the band sometree, formerly from Hanover and now based in Berlin, which brings together songs from the last ten years from the four musicians ("10/4"). Pressed at the longstanding Hammerpress (Kansas, USA). The specially designed cardboard CD case also includes a DVD with live videos. A matching poster was also produced.

The cover motif stacks up a mountain of jagged waves that fights against drowning in the massive black surface. Just as sometree sounded almost ten years ago, the first time we held one of their albums in our hands...

On “The Sparrow And The Crow” (Grönland), his second album to be released in Europe, the US singer-songwriter William Fitzsimmons handles the theme of his recent divorce. We took the idea of a fight between sparrow and crow (in which they would both be sure to lose a few feathers) literally, and created a typographic photogram.out of numerous sparrow and crow feathers.

Marissa Nadler's fourth album reveals a little more of the path that the singer and painter from Washington DC has been following: on an Americana framework, she creates songs with her fragile voice and sparse instrumentation. Our typeface, developed for the current tour poster, hints at the turn of the last century; the colour composition takes care of the rest.

The booking agency 2fortheroad organised two international shows with Juana Molina (AR) paired with Gareth Dickson (UK) and Ólafur Arnalds (IS) with Finn (DE) and turned the cinema into a concert hall. Zwölf did the Poster design.
